Cheryl Lamont elected as Co Antrim FA President

The Co Antrim FA Council met on Monday 21st September to elect its Office Bearers.
The Association is pleased to announce that Cheryl Lamont has been elected to the role as President with Senior Shield Chairman, Brian Adams elected as Vice President.
Cheryl has been involved in the local game for over three decades and for the previous two years has served as Vice President of the Co Antrim FA under the outgoing President, Jim Jess.
Cheryl has also represented the Co Antrim FA on the Irish FA Council since 2014 and last year was appointed to the UEFA Women's Football Committee.
Cheryl's election as President marks a historic landmark in the long history of the Association as she becomes the first female President in the history of the Co Antrim FA which was founded in 1888.
The Association would like to place on record our thanks to outgoing President Jim Jess for his devoted work across the previous two seasons and to also wish Cheryl Lamont and Brian Adams well in their new roles as President and Vice President respectively.
